Spine width is confirmed
This check is making sure that the spine width is shown as CONFIRMED.
The spine width value for all cover artwork is important for accurate production or cover designs.
However, it is often not confirmed during cover design stages and can become altered based on the the book page extent, paper bulk and paper type, binding method and print supplier information. A spine width can be pulled from database but it may still be required to be confirmed by the production department and the print supplier.
The spine width is shown in the GreenLight Cover Info panel along with the word UNCONFIRMED or CONFIRMED.
When creating or amending a cover using GreenLight an option allows the spine width value to be confirmed.
As well as using this checkbox, manually amending the wording directly in the Production options section of the GreenLight Cover Info panel is enough to pass this check.
The GreenLight check will only pass when the wording is changed to be CONFIRMED.
